In both your annual checkups and symptom-prompted visits, Dr. Marden will work in partnership with you to determine the best combination of the science and research of traditional therapy and the most current innovative treatments and procedures available. Dr. Marden is a champion for empowering women with innovative medicine. He is an advocate of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and a pioneer in leading-edge, minimally-invasive solutions. The mission of Embrace is to provide a comfortable and educational experience that presents options and information to help you stay healthy and vibrant at all stages of your adult life.
A native of San Francisco, California, Dr. Marden is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He received his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Pomona, California. Dr. Marden is a Clinical Associate Professor Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, and has practiced in this area for the last 21 years.
In addition to serving as an associate professor within the East Tennessee State University Department of Surgery and Family Medicine, Dr. Marden is an associate of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute Medical Associates, Inc. and has been providing care to women of Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Florida for the last thirteen years.
ABOUT DR. MARDEN
Dr. David Marden, DO, FACOG
Dr. Marden is a dedicated and passionate advocate for women's health, specializing in innovative and minimally-invasive medical solutions. Renowned for his expertise in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, Dr. Marden is committed to providing a comfortable and informative experience at Embrace Advanced. His mission is to empower women to maintain their health and vitality throughout their adult lives.
Born in San Francisco, California, Dr. Marden holds board certification from the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. During his college years, Dr. Marden was a standout athlete, being voted a three-time All-American and inducted into his college's Hall of Fame for track.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Marden serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to his primary practice, Dr. Marden contributes to the East Tennessee State University Department of Surgery and Family Medicine as an associate professor. He is also affiliated with the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute Medical Associates, Inc., providing care to women in Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Florida for the past thirteen years.
His dedication extends to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals as a clinical preceptor at Milligan University, Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), and Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM). His unwavering dedication to advancing women's health continues to inspire both his patients and colleagues.
MEET OUR TEAM
Blakeley Lewis, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Blakeley Lewis, FNP-BC brings 4 years of nursing experience to her position. She obtained her BSN from King University. As a RN she worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit caring for the smallest patients requiring the highest level of care and long-term hospitalizations. She then worked in a Labor and Delivery Unit/Special Care Nursery caring for women during pregnancy, delivery and postpartum as well as newborns who need extra help during the transition period. She returned to school for her MSN through King University where she graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She then worked for 6 years in a Primary Care office, all while continuing to have a special interest in women’s health and full body wellness. She has specialized training in lifestyle medicine, mental health including ADHD, and hypertension as well as general preventative care.
Outside of work, she is a wife and mother to three young boys and two pups. She enjoys spending time with her large extended family, going to the beach, singing at church, watching her siblings and children compete in various sports, reading, and exercising.
Amelia "Brooke" Fitchpatrick, MSN, FNP-C
Brooke Fitchpatrick, MSN, FNP-C began her nursing career in 2014 in the high-risk Labor & Delivery unit at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. Her passion for caring for critically ill patients led her to the Medical Critical Care unit for 6 years before becoming a flight nurse with UT Lifestar. She provided care during emergency transports to patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, traumas, and high risk obstetrics.
After starting her family, Brooke returned to the Tri-Cities area, where she continues to serve the region as a flight nurse with Highlands Emergency Air Rescue & Transport. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Carson Newman University and has experience in primary care, weight management, nutrition, and women’s health.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and son, tee ball games, exercising, sewing, and antiquing.
